Participation in the EACEA Grantholders meeting (25-29.01.2021, online)
On 25-29 January, 2021, the Executive Agency for Education, Audiovisual and Culture organised annual meeting for representatives of CBHE project-winners, representatives of the EU Directorates-General, the EU Delegations in the Partner Countries, National Erasmus+ Offices and National Agencies. The main purpose of the event is to acquaint the representatives of the winning teams with the Programme rules, provide advices on current issues and establish cooperation between projects and countries, as well as the specifics of project implementation in different countries.
Issues of the current state and future prospects for capacity development in higher education; the role and responsibilities of higher education institutions; the implementation, monitoring and financial management of CBHE projects, as well as project management during the COVID-19 pandemic were covered on the first day of the event. During the second day, 7 regional workshops were held, as well as a plenary session to study the impact of higher education capacity development projects, and to monitor and assess the impact of EU development policy.
During working days of the event, the e-Booth wawith 12 parallel sections of networking and exchange of good practices were open for all participants. NEO – Ukraine team, COOPERA project “Integrating Dual Higher Education In Moldova And Ukraine”, DigEco “Digitalization of economic as an element of sustainable development of Ukraine and Tajikistan”, SAFEMED+ “Simulation in Undergraduate MEDical Education for Improvement of SAFEty and Quality of Patient Care”, BACE “Building Academic Capacity in Global Health in the Eastern Europe – Central Asia Region”, OPTIMA “Open Practices, Transparency and Integrity for Modern Academia”, WORK4CE “Cross-domain competences for healthy and safe work in the 21st century”, CLIMAN “Synergy of educational, scientific, management and industrial components for climate management and climate change prevention”, UTTERLY “University teachers’ certification centres: innovative approach to promotion teaching excellence”, ClimEd “Multilevel Local, Nation- and Regionwide Education and Training in Climate Services, Climate Change Adaptation and Mitigation”, INTERADIS “International Students Adaptation and Integration” joined the event.
Participants of the events improved awareness on promotion and dissemination of achieved project results and activities, enhanced understanding of Erasmus+ financial management rules, and increased cooperation, synergy with key stakeholders to spread planned impact via individuals, institutional, local and national levels.
